Lockely
Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 January 2026
These terms govern luggage storage bookings made with Lockely at our Athens location. Placeholder text for launch — have them reviewed by a Greek lawyer before going live.
1. The service
Lockely stores luggage at a staffed counter in central Athens for the period you book. Each item you hand over counts as one bag, regardless of size or weight.
Storage is only available during opening hours. Bags cannot be dropped off or collected outside those hours.
2. Booking and payment
Bookings are paid online at the time of booking. Prices are shown per bag per calendar day and include VAT.
A calendar day means any part of a date between drop-off and pick-up, so an overnight stay counts as two days.
3. Cancellation and changes
You can cancel free of charge until one hour before your drop-off time; the payment is refunded to the original method.
After that window, or once bags are in storage, the booking is non-refundable. You can extend a booking at any time and pay for the additional days at the same rate.
4. What we cannot store
We do not accept perishable food, live animals, weapons, illegal substances, flammable or hazardous materials, or items of exceptional value such as large sums of cash, fine jewellery or art.
We may refuse or dispose of any item that breaches this clause and report it to the authorities where required.
5. Collection and abandoned bags
Bags must be collected by the person holding the QR code or PIN. We may ask for photo ID if the code cannot be produced.
Bags left more than 30 days after the booked pick-up time are treated as abandoned and may be donated or disposed of, with storage charges deducted.
6. Liability
Our liability for loss or damage is limited to the luggage protection amount described in the luggage protection policy.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Greek or EU consumer law.
7. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Greek law. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Athens, without affecting your rights as a consumer.
