These terms govern luggage storage bookings with Lockely at our Athens counter (Santaroza 3, 10564 Athens). By booking online or at the counter, you agree to them. For questions: [email protected] · +30 6944 773 755.
Lockely provides short-term luggage storage at a staffed counter in central Athens. You book a drop-off and pick-up window; we tag and store each bag for that period.
Each item you hand over counts as one bag for pricing, regardless of weight, unless we agree otherwise in writing. Storage is available only during published opening hours (Monday–Friday 08:00–13:00 and 16:30–21:00, Saturday 08:00–16:00, Sunday closed, Athens time). Bags cannot be dropped off or collected outside those hours.
You may pay by card online when you book (processed by Stripe), or reserve online and pay cash at the counter when you drop off. Walk-in cash bookings can also be created by staff at the counter.
Prices are shown per bag per calendar day and include applicable Greek VAT. A calendar day means any part of a date between drop-off and pick-up, so an overnight stay counts as two days. A service fee may apply as shown at checkout.
A cash reservation holds your slot and issues a QR code and PIN. Payment is due when bags are checked in. If you do not arrive and do not cancel in time, we may mark the booking as no-show and release the capacity.
You can cancel free of charge until one hour before your booked drop-off time from your bookings page or by emailing [email protected] with your reference.
Card payments are refunded to the original payment method. Unpaid cash reservations simply release the slot. After the free-cancellation window, or once bags are checked in, the booking is non-refundable except where required by law.
You may request an extension before pick-up. Extra days are charged at the same rates; unpaid extensions may be settled at the counter.
At drop-off and pick-up you must show the booking QR code or 6-digit PIN. We hand bags only to the person who presents a valid code for that booking.
We may ask for photo ID or matching contact details if the code cannot be shown. Keep your phone charged or screenshot the code before you arrive.
We do not accept perishable food, live animals, weapons, illegal substances, flammable or hazardous materials, lithium batteries in bulk, or items of exceptional value such as large sums of cash, fine jewellery, or art.
We may refuse any item that breaches this clause. Where required by law we may involve the authorities. Prohibited items found after check-in may be removed and reported.
Collect before closing on your pick-up day, or extend the booking. Bags left after the booked pick-up without an extension may incur additional storage charges at the published daily rate.
Bags left more than 30 days after the booked pick-up, with no contact from you, may be treated as abandoned and donated or disposed of after we attempt to reach the booking email.
Our liability for loss, theft or damage while bags are in our care is limited as described in the Luggage Protection policy (up to €500 per bag), except where liability cannot be limited under Greek or EU consumer law.
You remain responsible for the contents of your bags. Do not store items on the excluded list in the Luggage Protection policy.
Please follow staff instructions on site. We may refuse service to anyone who is abusive, intoxicated, or who endangers staff or other guests.
These terms are governed by Greek law. Courts of Athens have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have in your country of residence in the EU/EEA.
If any clause is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. We may update these terms; the version dated above applies to bookings made after that date.
