Luggage Protection

Up to €500 per bag for loss, theft or accidental damage while your bags are in our care — from the moment we check them in until we hand them back against your QR code or PIN.

This is included automatically with every confirmed booking. No extra fee and no separate sign-up.

It is Lockely’s own liability cover under our Terms of Service (not a third-party travel-insurance policy).

Every bag is tagged to your booking reference at check-in and released only to someone with your valid QR or PIN.

The counter is staffed during opening hours, secured when we close, and monitored by CCTV.

For the smoothest day out, keep passports, wallets, phones, keys, and small valuables on you — the same habit you’d use in a café or museum.

Protection is built for typical luggage contents within the €500 per-bag limit. Very high-value or one-of-a-kind items (fine jewellery, large amounts of cash, art, collectibles) are better kept with you or in a hotel safe.

We also can’t cover pre-existing wear (scuffs, worn wheels, broken zips), fragile contents that weren’t packed for travel, food or leaking liquids, or bags left past pick-up without an extension.

Tell staff at the counter as soon as you notice a problem — ideally before you leave — so we can note it and check CCTV.

Email [email protected] within 48 hours with your booking reference, a short description, and photos. We aim to acknowledge within five working days and settle approved claims up to the €500 per-bag limit.

Mandatory rights under Greek or EU consumer law that cannot be waived remain unaffected.
