Bags are not allowed on the Acropolis rock, and the climb is steep with uneven marble steps. Leave suitcases and day packs with us in Omonoia — a short metro or walk from the site — and walk up with just water and a light layer.
Acropolis
From Santaroza 3, walk to Omonoia metro (3 minutes) and take Line 1 to Monastiraki, then walk uphill through Plaka to the Acropolis entrance — about 12 minutes on foot from Monastiraki. Alternatively, walk via Ermou street in roughly the same time.
Book drop-off for 08:00–09:00 on hot days so you beat the midday heat on the rock. Summer queues start around 10:00 — lighter with empty hands.
Plaka and Anafiotika are steps-only — collect bags before dinner if you are staying in the old town with luggage later.
Acropolis
Gates open at 08:00 and the rock is coolest in the first two hours. Drop your bags with us from 08:00 as well.
The combined ticket covers the Ancient Agora and Roman Forum — both a short walk from our counter.
Monday–Friday 08:00–13:00 and 16:30–21:00. Saturday 08:00–16:00. Sunday closed. Drop-off and pick-up must both fall inside these hours on the dates you book.
